         The lesson the US wants to teach to humanity is that “the world is had taken some damage for the sake of humanity”.

         The US missiles and military are reaching the Russian border. If they cared about the small countries then they wouldn't have left Afghanistan overnight?

         Along Russia, people should ask the US, if they knew that Russia is an aggressor then why would they test their aggression?

         The news channels and most people get very excited by hearing the war news because they get a new topic to discuss. The people whose family members or loved ones are in the war zone. they get scared naturally. No country in the world wants war. 

Russia is attacking at this time and knows very well that it puts itself at a very high risk by getting into a war with Ukraine.

 

So what was the compulsion of Russia that it had to attack Ukraine? 

         So what was the reason that Ukraine is being attacked? In this whole situation, Ukraine became a pawn. To know more, we need to see slightly back into the past. When there was a time when Ukraine was a part of Russia (Called the old USSR).

         In 1991, the division of the USSR took place, and many small countries emerged. And Ukraine was one of them. And this was very painful for Russia. 

         But even though it operated according to Russia. This is why Putin has always been saying that Russia and Ukraine are not separate. They share the same history and culture. Putin had also written a note in 2021 (Article by Vladimir Putin ”On the Historical Unity of Russians and Ukrainians“).

The relationship between Russia and Ukraine was so close that Ukraine gave all its Atomic assets in 1996 to Russia under the NPT agreement. If Ukraine had those assets today then the whole scenario may be entirely different

 

         In Ukrainian, approximately 30% population is ethnic Russians. They support Russia.

 

Whereas Eastern Ukraine is that part where the majority is ethnic Ukrainians. 

 

         Before 2014, the relations between Russia and Ukraine were quite good

         But after 2014 Ukraine came under the influence of the US and Europe. And now Ukraine is divided into two groups.

 

         The first group speaks Russian and they support the pro-Russian government

And the second group is native Ukrainian. So they raise their voices against the pro-Russian government.

         From 2010 to 2014, the president of Ukraine was Mr. Viktor. He was pro-Russian. In Nov-2013 Mr. Viktor was invited to a meeting with European Union. He was offered for European free trade agreement which he denied. After that, protests took place against him in Ukraine.

    From November 2013 to February 2014. This made president Mr. Viktor flee for his life And took asylum in Russia. That was a lesson for upcoming presidents for if they listen to Russia so this would also happen to them. After 2014, Ukraine gradually started tilting more with European than Russia and Russia didn't like this.

         Naturally, Russia is a rich supplier of natural gas in Europe. 30% of natural gas is provided by Russia to the whole of Europe. And it is all done through pipelines. Some important routes of these pipelines pass through Ukraine. But after 2013 Ukraine started to demand 33 billion dollars per year from Russia.    

         Ukraine was one of its biggest economic partners of Russia. But after 2014, the situation changed. Russia wanted Ukraine to join the Eurasian Economic Union for a free trade agreement but Ukraine denied it. The real problem started when Ukraine showed serious interest in becoming a NATO member. 

         

        Everyone knows that NATO was not only founded to defend Europe but also to counter Russia, so Russia getting troubled. Under The US strategy, the anti-nation countries group is getting bigger and stronger.

 

         The second thing is that the US military and missiles are reaching Russian borders. Like Estonia, Latvia, and Poland. If Ukraine becomes a member. Then the US can launch an attack against Russia in just 2 minutes if wants.

 

Ukraine is not eligible for NATO

 

  The guidelines of NATO says that there shouldn't be border dispute (Study on NATO Enlargement).

     

    But NATO is trying to make Ukraine a member. Biden was saying that they will send the forces to eastern Europe So that Russians will not take over small countries, it's the point of their security.

          Building a military base near the Ukraine border is a big issue that become the reason the war started. It is one of the biggest factors in geopolitics. 

         Russia cannot afford Ukraine to become a member of NATO at any cost. If Ukraine becomes a member of NATO, the 2295 km Ukraine-Russia border will be exposed to NATO forces.

         Crimea, Luhansk, and Donetsk were part of Ukraine. Russia separated Crimea from Ukraine in 2014. Then got a referendum. In  Crimea the  Majority is Pro- Russians, So the verdict was in the favor of Russia The same thing also happened in Luhansk and Donetsk, the Separatist Movement from Ukraine was already going on in Luhansk Donetsk. But now when Russia had to attack Ukraine from all sides, both regions were declared independent a day before. And got their army entered and said they are peacekeeping forces. 

         Russia was trying to explain these things to the US and NATO in every way that we are not coming near you, then why are you deploying forces near us?

         On 14th January, the foreign minister of Russia said Russia will not indefinitely wait for this thing. Russia made some demands and said that if the demands are fulfilled Then they would not attack.

         Ukraine was just a pawn in this scenario. The real reason for the war was the US, NATO, and Russia.

         The first demand, military activities done by NATO in Eastern Europe should be stopped and NATO forces should be removed from Poland and the Baltic nations.

         The second demand was that Ukraine will never become a member of NATO.

         The third demand was whatever nuclear missiles of the US were in Europe should be disarmed.

         In these demands, Nothing was being asked from Ukraine. But from US and NATO.

         It is the history of the US that after giving the assurance of false security and when the country starts getting into a war, it leaves them and runs away.        

         With all the things that are happening in Ukraine, The US is as responsible as much as Russia. Millions of people have died due to the enmity between both countries.

            Biden is not strong but a very smart president. He can do much damage to Russia without shooting a bullet. Russia will face a very big loss.

         The second thing is that Russia is getting sanctioned by every country in the world. Ukraine's foreign minister is tweeting about the swift ban. They are silent on the swift ban. 

        They are avoiding this as much as possible because 30% of Europe's natural gas comes from Russia and if the swift ban gets levied, they will get a very big shock. People should ask the US too along with Russia that if they knew that Russia is an aggressor then why we’re testing its aggression?

         The powerful one will shut down the weaker one. Right now it has happened to Ukraine Then it may be will happen to Taiwan.

         Nobody will come to save them. Everyone will just watch the show. This war will be ended and leaders will shake their hands again. But the people whose family members are gone will not come back. And this is the Harsh reality. THE END
